Which config file ...? Main.cfg ?

Can you send it to me ?

Are you using the resolution mod ?

If yes, can you send yours d3d9.cfg and d3d9.dll ?

Are you using XP SP2 ? I understand the resolution fix doesnt works with SP2. I am user of SP2.

Best regards, Red.

This is utterly false. Search The Community Manual for "display resolution".

Using 800x600 the image could be less detailed but by the other hand can help in low end systems or low price graphic cards.

this option is very interesting :hmm:

Yes, agree, even when FPS are not a problem for me, i am interesting in be able to have 800x600, very old games has how to change resolution, gamma corrections...... but SH3 not.

I use 800x600 everywhere, i cant note any difference, so it justify to losse FPS, or reheat the GPU.

Of course it is a personal choice, i accept another persons want higger resolutions.

Dale Hartmann, a ver si se te ocurre como arreglar el problema y hacerlo funcionar en 800x600.

Thanks, "Uber Mom" , i know the procedure, but it is long and complex, and i never attempt it.

In that place is where is wrote this mod doesnt works with SP2.

Any way, the file as it is "from the box", do not works to obtain 800x600 resolution.

In the main screens, where you select missions, the mouse is restricted to a portion of the screen, and your arrow has not acces to the start button.

No. It says it does work with SP2 but you have to install and customize Microsoft's Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit to get it to work.

I don't think SH3 was designed to run propely under 1024x768.

I made many mod for SH2, and all them was adapted to High res Mod 1024x768, it is very anoying to move each object and build the new coordinates, to positioning them into the 1024 scree in correct place, lot of job.

You do NOT have to edit DLL files. I wouldn't know how to do that myself!

Read carefully.

If you have the OEM version of Winxp you do, yet mostly everybody has the retail version.

i got help from microsoft to edit my dll files its not editing you just have to delete certain dll files to make way for sp2 otherwise sp2 will give you an error saying cannot copy blah blah dll, which then leads to utter madness
