Default New Model- Request for assistance !

Hi All,
After hearing the SHIII dev team were willing to incorporate player's models into the game I started work on converting my CFS2 Beaufighter down to the required poly count (its now around 3900). However.... I don't have Studio Max! Is there anyone out there with a validated copy of 3D Studio max and the requisite skills that would like to map this baby. As design partner you will get equal credit, fame and fortune (should there be any!). I have textures ready to adapt to a mapped model so with luck it might not take too long to get the "whispering Death" to the Dev team.

Anyone interested?? If so please post beneath and we'll get started!

Hopefully you will share it with us BEFORE you share it with the dev team lol.

Cool, a Beaufighter is one of the aircraft that's missing a little bit too much in SH3... Got any Lancasters, B17's or Mosquito's lying around by the way?

We'll even need the Wildcat, B-17, and possibly the B-25 for the Atlantic campaign.

How are those coming?

Oh, that's good news.

Airplanes are never the fun part of a u-boat sim, but it would at least be nice to have the correct airplanes...

Btw, I guess we won't have to clone a wildcat from an avenger?

Why would you want to do that? There are plenty of original models available from various flight simulators and espona collections.

The Wildcat model you'd want to use is the FM-2. It operated exclusively from escort carriers both in the Pacific and the Atlantic.

Did someone say Airplanes? These might be helpful, they are freeware but the LOD isn't incredable...
