CAPTAIN AMERICA'S - 'OFFICER ICON MOD' v1.1 sitting on my desktop and well, what folder do I drop it into and is there anything else I should know (EG. overwrite a file)

OfficerA and OfficerB then put in the OfficerA and OfficerB tga's of your choice from CA's mod.

The officers icons went blank but still no luck?

I would download the files again; Then go to Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\menu\GUI\Layout and delete the OfficerA and OfficerB files (back them up first) and then copy the OfficerA and OfficerB files into this folder. You should be in port and if you have SH3 CMdE you must roll back first.

The snap shot shows what I got at my end after down loading same results all the time.

Ok Files downloaded more than once all no go.

OfficerA & B were removed from file result Officer Icon vanish just a blank screen.

I never drop files into locations when at sea always back in port.

Roll back no result.

I will give it another go tomorrow.

I know I shouldn't laugh but that icon is not your officer icons... Not yet!

It a 7z file. 7z file is a compressor similar of .zip or .rar.

If you use RAR, you should be able to unzip it. If not, you must download the 7z compressor, it free.

Once unziped, you will have your two officers icons, two .tga files that you will replace in the layout folder. That should work.

Google for 7z compressor, it should be available for download.

Never heard of it, nuts showing my age. I downloaded a trial version where can you pick up a free one. OK I give it ago tonight see if it works.
