Default The shallow end of the pool

So there I was about 20 - 30km out of Scapa Flow. Getting outta dodge as it were because I found no ships at the port. Next thing I know there are destroyers everywhere.

A fight ensues. I wont bore you with the details other than to point this one thing out:

A destroyer was coming across my bow (not by anything I did either) and I got a solution. I thought what luck! I can't miss at this range (400m) and solution (90 AoB 000 gyro angle). I fired all three fish in a salvo (I'm in a IIA) and managed to miss with every one...

HOWEVER... there was a destroyer a little behind the one I shot at going the other way. I never saw it. Visibility was awful (500 m) with the rain and the fog. I heard one of the explosions. Figured it was the torp malfuntioning then I saw the fires. No kidding! I sunk my first destroyer by accident!

SO WHAT'S WITH THE STRANGE SUBJECT HEADING YOU SAY?

The destroyer broke in half. The middle end of both halfs rested on the ocean floor as the bow and the aft(sp?) of the ship stayed above water. They got to dredge out that area of the sea out! It's a little shallow.

Yes, I've seen this happen several times, myself. I just figgured it is some type of minor bug. Doesn't really cause a problem, but it does look kind of strange if you're supposed to be in deep water.
