Default IUB CTDs, but Rub1.44 okay

Installed IUB 1.01, get the menues but when running a mission and the sim
switches to graphic it CTDs. Installed Rub 1.44 (and Rub1.43) and all is ok.

Any ideas?

Is it installed over a clean version of SH3, that is with no other mods installed?

Yep, just re-installed, patched to1.4b, installed IUB1.01 and same effect.

That's odd - I have no other reports of this sort of thing. It's most likely some graphical change... I suggest updating your video card drivers (good ones for Nvidia are 77.77's, not sure for ATI) and also sound card/MB drivers.

It´s important to manually delete the main SH3 dir after you´ve uninstalled it. There could still be some old mods that IUB doesn´t like and that weren´t removed by the uninstaller.

I suggest for ATi using 5.7 drivers classic version or 5.9 classic version for Radeon cards below the x800 series. Been a lot of issues reported by some at another site I frequent regarding 9800, 9600 etc ATi based cards using the CCC. The CCC requires .NET software in addition to the driver. So suggest Classic ATi driver versions.

For a variety of ATi files go to http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?id=18

If comfortable with Beta drivers try out the Omega drivers based on 5.7 etc - that version is the one I return to if I have trouble.

Currently running Omega 2.6.75a (based on Catalyst 5.10a) no problems so far on my x800xt PE card.

Thanks for all suggestions. I used the ATI 5.10a and the Omega's, but
no change. I'll try to hunt the problem down and report back.

I had the same problem, but only when loading a career, not the single mission. Must have been something in the savegame of the career. I reinstalled the game and started my career all over again (bummer.... ) and since then no problem. By the way nice MOD!!
