Where to find AOD new ships?

This is probably a stupid question, but did anyone ever make any new ships for AOD? And if not, can it be done at all?

The only mods I know that have been done ever for AOD/CAOD are some sound mods. I think CB still has one on his web: www.ebort.com, and there was another site hosting a very good sound mod, but I can't remember where iit was

Well I guess there are no new ships available for AOD.

But could they be added if someone wanted to do so? It doesn't look possible to me.
