THe Royal Navy announces that Capt. Bellman is undertaking an important assignment and
he and his crew have left Fasslaine for an unknown destination.

Sources close to the Admiralty have divulged that his SW is on secret test missions, it is now out of radio contact
and is not expected to communicate (Thank g*d !!) for some 60 hours. :|\

Yes, you can use it, however the active sonars may not work as intended... they may be a bit more deaf than they should be.

Yeah Kapitain!

The bug workaround that we used involved reducing the sensitivity of the active sonar sensors to compensate for an incorrectly applied multiplicative modifier in the game code. Now that this has been (supposedly) corrected, under certain conditions the reduction in sonar sensitivity may make the sensors less effective than we would like.

LW - The dedicated thread link in 2.01 ReadMe is to a LwAmi Mod 2.01 topic thread last post 14 Aug.

Therefore I have posted results of my first test in Mods as a new opic.
If you prefer any further feedback to go to another destination please advise.

I don't understand how that would be the case.

Unzip it to your DW folder. Run the backup.bat and then run the install.bat and you're done.

There isn't anything there that would necessitate a reinstall... :hmm:

I just installed directly from the distribution downloaded from Bill's site and there are no problems at all.

I should note, that others have been using this version of the mod since a few days ago with no problems.

@ LuftWolf & Amizaur :

friend of mine made a thing quite nice for a very fast installation =>
he zipped modified folders after patch was applied.

folders pack =>

Database
Doctrine
database.LwAmiMod
database.standard
LWAMI Modv2.01 Charts and Tables (was made with the previous version)
doctrine.LwAmiMod
doctrine.standard

this way you just have to unzip this file in the DW root directory, and patch is applied.
And if you want to remove the mod, just have to clic uninstall.
Maybe you could propose this also to download ?
2 versions :
- the patch only
- the file to unzip in DW folder to go immediatly to MOD 2.02

This will maybe help some guys not always familiarized with patching.

That's a good idea OKO!

The only issue with that is we are hesitant to distribute any original files as part of our package, given the current level of activity with the SCS legal team (we have been told not to do this and that... and waiting for an answer from SCS is not always a fast process).

There probably won't be a problem with that, but we would have to ask Jamie to be sure.
