Has anybody ever found any of the old 40s & 50s serials of
"Don Winslow of the Navy" or "Don Winslow of the Coast Guard"? I have seen mag articles of people selling old serials but wonder if it is real or a scam. I e-mailed a couple but never got a reply. Makes me a bit cautious on ordering..... JIM

Back in the 40s and 50s, movie houses ran serials along with
the pictures. There were lots of them made about many things and they were usually about 12 to 15 episodes long. The only military ones I remember were the "Don Winslow" ones about the Coast Guard and the Navy. I remember one episode where they tracked down the U-29. I would sure love to get them on DVD so I can enjoy them again.... JIM
