Anything from Logitech is good, in fact I have bought nothing but their equipment for the last 4 years. None of their products have ever failed they simply get passed down every time I have a mid life update to my current system.

The Logitech® Precision PC Gaming Headset may just be what your looking for.

Though in the end nothing can match a decent 5.1 system on your rig.

Well I also have used creative speakers in the past on my old man's rig and their all right. Now I can't say anything about their headsets but I can say that my 2 of my buddies own the logitech headsets and love 'em.

I'd say your best bet is to read the reviews and balance the 2 out. However you can also go for commerical grade headphones which cost just a wee bit more...

cheers,

I haven't used any seriously in a while, but I always used to swear by Sennheiser 's kit.

I was unhappy with a brand new pair of Logitech USB headphones I purchased a year ago. Not confortable, shoddy workmanship and a lousy mike.

I took some else's advice and bought a cheap US$19 Plantronics Audio 90 headset, not USB, with mike.

Works great, moderately comfortable, a bargain for the price. No regrets.
