After you finish a patrol in SHIII do you have to exit the game then go back in everytime in order to loose crew members due to transfers or will it happen in the game if you have the option selected??
I have never seen it happen while in game. Any insight? Thanks.

The transfers only happen outside of the game when you start SH3 through SHCommander.

The SH3 Commander mod only works if you start every patrol by launching the game via SH3 Commander. If players don't do this before every patrol, none of the SH3 Commander files get loaded into the game.
SH3 Commander is not a mod as such - it's more like a specially configured mod installer that inserts files and data based on the information it reads from the campaign files. If you don't use it to launch the game it won't do anything at all.
