Default The Hedgehog

Has anyone ever seen Destroyers use their Hedgehog's?

I remember seeing the Hedgehog in a teaser video for SH3, but in all my time playing the game, not once have I been on the recieving end of a DC's Hedgehog.

They're supposed to appear on most escorts in 1944; however, and this may seem odd, but I was actually sunk by a hedgehog-equipped Flower in December 1942. (which is historically accurate, but makes no sense to me in terms of game mechanics...) :hmm:

Sometimes you can watch destroyers using hedgehogs when you look up hrough the periscope... a ring of splashes appears, and then you see the DCs sinking towards you.

... Ohhh yes! Furthermore I don't recall ever being able to completely avoid being damaged by them. Darn effective weapon.

The Black Swan frigates have them too. They've rattled my teeth on more than one occasion.
