Default Aircraft

I just like to ask is there anyway I can stop the bombers from dive bombeing and drop there weapon load in level flight instad?

Also is anyone working on any new aircraft at the momment? we got fighters we got bombers, how about some Transports I think some DC3s would look nice in the game.I'd do one myself but I wouldn't know where to start.
Thanks

Hi Andy,

I hope you get it working but I don't think at the moment there is any way to add new models, I have changed the insignia on some aircraft but that's about it, you could try cloning one and remove the weapons or something and select it to fly low in a single scenario/mission, but for what it's worth I don't know if you want to go to that amount of trouble.

With the new tool from Sansal, it appears as if in-game models can be exported, changed, and then re-imported. Several members are working on perfecting it now, but it is not fully operational yet.

very red faced here.

I must admit I hadn't read much on Sansal's tool so I apologize.

I see now new models are being made for SH3 and very good they look too, so may be soon we will have a few new aircraft/ships etc.

If a game can be modded, our modders WILL find it, rest assured.

yup I modded 1 or 2 planes in my airpower mod...

you need to open the aircraft.sim file I think, using a hex editor, and then look for IS_LEVEL_BOMBER after that follow either 00 or 01.

00 = NO
01 = YES

I think, this was nearly 6 months ago so my memory is hazy..
