We all all have our wish lists for SH3. Wolf packs, milk cows, walk around sub... etc.
My number 1 wish is for SH3 is a simple one: Allow me to have a dynamic logbook that I can type into while underway, preferably with a handwriting font. I tried to get some of those desktop Quick-Notes type software to pop-up in SH3 but haven’t been successful. Alt-tabbing to write in them is not practicable either as it tends to mess-up the chart-table in my sub interior as well as it’s inconvenient. I’m left with typing on my laptop while sailing on the desktop…. Hmmm… Having a note-taking tool inside SH3 would be the ultimate mod add-on for me… ![]() |

Well my #1 wish would probably be considered pretty lofty.
I would like to see a truly dynamic campaign a la Falcon 4.0, where we have for instance wolfpacks and AI naval and air batttles happening alongside the players, and the player and AI actions actually make a difference as to the outcome of the war. SHIII is great even without that but that would be my #1 wish. Cheers, OTS

The visibility range being fixed properly. Not the current 8000 m balooney, nor the modded 17000m one with dodgy crew spotting. A real patch that fixed that issue would make me happy.

I agree with a war outcome that would flux with your performance... and setting of realism...

After just seeing a documentry on Kursk, I would have to say the number 1 thing I want is one of those subs and its super rocket-torpedos

The remaining 3d compartments internal views modelled, (Engine room etc) with the Obs' periscope moved back forward of attack periscope. Ability to back out of attack periscope into conning tower.
And most of all! Have more progressive damage models so that minor damage/wounds are commonplace in halfway nasty DC attack, rather than the "all or nothing" situation we nearly always get. |
