When standing on the conning tower, or slumping in the control room I generally start out facing fwd. What can I hear of the engines - very little if anything.
I have to turn (view - not boat) 90 degrees either side before I even start to hear the engines. I have to face aft before I hear them fully. I think that, regardless of where you stand, or what direction you are facing, you will the engines to some degree. Is there a way, does anyone know, of making the increase in engine volume a little less abrupt? MLF
