Hi Commander1980,

Yes, like that!
I'm follow some of yours comments about the light cruisers.
I'm interested in some others vessels to do a escort duty...
So clarify me about this:

1. If you mount a fishboat like that all the fishboats will like the same?
2. Do you find a way to increase the armour of the warships like the light cruisers?

Thanks,

Rubini.

@ 2nd. No, not yet. I found no time

@ 1st: You can use different "Loadouts" in each ship-class (like that on bombers). For example one unarmed Loadout, one with Searchlight, another with AA-gun and one with 3 Inch Gun.

In the ships cfg-file (ie nf_boat01.cfg), paste at bottom:

(the basic = unarmed loadout, is the standard loadout)

[Loadout 1]
Name=Spotter
Type=1

[Loadout 2]
Name=Flakker
Type=1

[Loadout 3]
Name=Gunner
Type=1

In the eqp-file:

[Equipment 2]
NodeName=L01
LinkName=REF_Big
StartDate=19380101
EndDate=19451231
Loadout=Spotter

[Equipment 3]
NodeName=L01
LinkName=20mmGEQuadruple
StartDate=19380101
EndDate=19451231
Loadout=Flakker

[Equipment 4]
NodeName=L01
LinkName=3InchSingle
StartDate=19380101
EndDate=19451231
Loadout=Gunner

You than can chose in the properities-screen with the mission editor each of the loadouts (as "Spotter", "Flakker", "Gunner").

i tried a lot of different loadout-settings, the whole Loadout Mini Fleet can be seen here

Thanks Commander,

I understand that when I will put the ship (in the SCR layer for example), using the mission editor I'm able to choice the loadouts. It's great!

I will try and post to you later!

For now the best thing you can do is copy the file data\roster\german\sea\PTSchnellboot.cfg and place it in Finland's roster folder. Keep in mind that if you give it a new skin in paintshop all schnellboots will look that way, not just the Finnish ones.

Commander1980,

This is what I mean. But in the other side, I'm afraid about include a lot of micro modifications on the mod because different peoples have different tastes and perhaps they already have adjusted something in your own installation. I will think about it ... the mod files are so thin... :hmm:

Thanks again!

Yes, this is right. I think ships will spawn with the basic loadout, when there are no other loadouts defined in the ships files, so you do not have to make a second scr-layer without loadouts. I will try that later.
