Tanks? Their Somua and B1-bis were quite superior to German armor in 1940, but suffered due to having fewer radios and poor tactics.

Always wanted somebody to create a usable version of an I-400 (aka Sen Toku).

She housed 3 high speed bombers.

IMO, the French has always had a bit more... finesse, in their naval creations than the British did.
Their ships during the 18th century was after all a lot better designed than those of the Limeys, even though the Brits had the best sailors. Now this jolly bastard.. along with the Japenese I-400... what rulers of the sub-surface ocean!
