it's the towed array assembly fairing.

Are you really so concerned that it's missing? :P

Well... Yes! and No!

It's kinda funny to see mising parts on the submarine.In SC it was in DW it's missing.Whats next ? Maybe conning-tower will be missing in the next game?

Kapitain,of course you didn't noticed it,because you always play with (obvious from your signiture) akula.

i have and sometimes still do play the 688I i also track them quite often in fact the 688i and british trafalgars are the two subs i track the most

Because the 688 model in DW is (Purposely?) inaccurate. Just look at that bow the TB-16 Housing is the least of that boat's problems.

Maybe because it is so small an insignificant detail that nobody thought to include it in the standard 3d model.

Of course I noticed too blunt nose of 688i.Hundreds of people complaned about it since SC. So I even dont boder to ask anything about it.

Well, one way or the other its not important when you play with 3d disabled.

Now that kinda feature could have been included in the game.
Seaguls ****ting on the boat and then you must clean as fast as you can until captain doesnt see it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
