Crash to desktop question

Ok while underway after a pranging by Aircraft doing repairs flooding etc. Now I am not sure I could maybe be dead but hard to tell as my MS XP error report comes up to totally back screen saying error and in MOD: NTDLL.DLL

What in all that is holy is that?

To me that doesn't sound like a crash to desktop, that sounds like a crash of Windows. I assume you have to restart your system when this happens...

I think ntdll.dll is one of the central pieces of Windows, if it's saying there's a problem in module ntdll.dll, that's bad news..

Sorry, don't know beyond that...there's probably a LOT of things that it could be, it's only if it keeps happening in SH3 that I'd even think of blaming the game for it.

But that is the issue, during MoH, CoD, IL2 Pacific Fighters and Band of Bros. nothing no problems. Play SH and on occassion during as described and bang black screen of death error report and back to home screen. does not shut down just crashes to desktop from SH.
