Can I make acoustic torpedoes cheaper ??

January 1944 . .

Recently decided to upgrade my VIIB to VIIC.

Got a little confused in the upgrade screen, and i switched between the 2 engine upgrades 2 or 3 times, wich consumed almost all my renown.

Now I cant buy the acoutisc (Type IV i think) torpedo when i need them the most

This is ruining my patrols

Hitler you cheap ass, 500 renown for a single torpedo ??!?

How can I work around this problem ?

IÂ´d like to use them to add more fun to my game. I feel pretty soon the war will be over and i barely had to try those
