SH4 subs for SH3

I've been reading about pulling ships from SH3 to put into SH4, is there a way to pull the US subs from SH4 and play em in SH3? why? you say... well 'cause the system requirements for SH3 are a lot less and us with lower end systems could really enjoy using a US sub in the Atlantic. SH4 and SH3 share alot of the same files, i just wondered if this was possible.

i cant see why not. have you tried asking over at the sh4 mods thread? see if anyone would be interested. might be concerns with changing files from diferent games on a legal point of view
