Default Question about Sonalysts

Quote:
Los Angeles Class Attack Sub- 688

In the late 1960's the Soviets shocked the US by keeping pace with a carrier group at 30 knots in a November class submarine. There were also rumours of a Soviet Victor class sub capable of 40 Knots and the ability to dive below 2000 feet. What the US didn't know was that the Sovets achieved these speeds by reducing reactor shielding and exposing their crew to lethal doses of radiation over time.

The Electric Boat Company was given the order to create a sub capable of 35 knots. What they came up with was the Los Angeles class, capable of over 30 knots. The first sub was SSN 688, the Los Angeles.

In the 1980's the 688 was improved to include a better sensor array, vertical launch tubes for guided missiles, and the diving sails were moved from the sail to the hull for better slow speed control submerged.

One of the subcontractors who worked on the sub was the Sonalysts- a group of ex-navy vets. The Sonalysts also worked with Janes Combat Simulations and Electronic Arts on this simulation game. Since the Sonalysts have access to classified data on the sub they were able to get around this by using the data provided by Janes which is not classified.

I was just wondering if its true that Sonalyst has access to all the classified information? How deep are they involved? I thought they are just a game developer with a passion.
