I played the latest dev version today in a closed group backtage at the Games Convention 2005. Operations in shallow waters are awesome, the waves from your boat clashes on the beaches and shore stones, the entire graphic of the costline landscape puts the one from SH3 far behind.

One of the devs told me that they have green lights(and the money

) from Akella to put the release date forth to 1Q 2006 because of implement more campaign options and behaviors.

Loved the effect of the sub's bow and stern rising out of the water as it was being blown in half. Just wish it would come out. Been waiting since 2004 for this one.
