Resolution reset

I just installed SH3 via Uplay and for some reason, I un-ticked the fullscreen option and reset the game. Now the game reverts to some silly low res and the entire UI cannot be seen anymore. I've reinstalled the game 3x to see if that resets anything but it still starts up in windowed mode with about only 1/3rd of the total UI visible and I cannot reset fullscreen mode as the "apply" button is way below the screen and inaccessible.

No mods, vanilla SH3 install. Any help please?

What does the file Documents\SH3\data\cfg\main.cfg contain under [VIDEO]?

Resolution=1024 x 800

I tried applying the resolution fix patch and while it now shows the entire UI, I can't get the mouse cursor to go down below the MUSEUM button, so now I can't even access the OPTIONS button.
Now I can't access the area in red:

Okay, that's weird. Uninstalled again and planned on deleting the Documents\SH3 folder only to find out it was deleted automatically. Installed again and now everything works fine on fullscreen.

Hi folks,
I too made the same mistake @IcyWaters made. For some reason, I unselected Full Screen mode in video option, I guess I wanted to see what would happen.
Uninstalled both SH3 and Ubisoft Connect, 3 or 4 times, fiddled with resolutions,etc.
I have seen the apparent Fix as posted by the kind person here but I don't understand the fix and I am not that skilled with computers.
Please help, what are my options?
