Need help with WarshipMod 3.0

I recently downloaded GWX 3.0 Gold Edition and idk if its the mod or what but it doesn't work on GWX 3.0 Gold Edition even though in the notepad file for it it says "This version is for GWX 3.0" and whenever I launch into a singlemission it crashes when I choose a surface ship or go to the museum and show "warships". Is the GWX version I'm using the wrong one or is there an updated version of the mod? It works on the vanilla version of silent hunter
