This has happened several times to me, so is it a glitch or am I missing something...?:
After a day of submersion and an attack on the port at Wake I slipped away and started to return to Pearl. My C)2 was at about 30%. I surfaced and ran toward the east on the surface, but my CO2 continues to rise. On the surface?

well, Kaleun Argonne, are you fond of alt-tabbing to windows while you are playing? that is probably the source of the CO2 issue.

first, don't shell out to windows...at all. if it happens, by accident now, of course, save the game, exit SH4. then re-launch SH4 and reload your game.
