Missing watch crew

Ahoy.
After resurfacing the watch crew are not on con tower, but I still get sighting messages!! Only way to get them back in view is save ,quit, restart. Ordering the number 2 to "crew on deck" does not work. Playing TWoS v2.2.25. Any suggestions?

...i do not know but there are shells all over the floor.

Real nav and encrypted bdu orders. Typically, since my original post, the crew have been behaving themselves. C`est la vie.
