I've been trying to install and play SH5 on a new system I bought. It has all of the latest bells and whistles but I've run into a snag.
The problem I have is that when I install SH5 through Steam it wants me to go to Uplay and then download it from there. I tried doing it and running from the Uplay works but it appears that the steam side of the game no longer does. I checked and the systems aren't linked, so not sure what is going on. |

Ubi abandoned Uplay a few years ago. you need Ubi Connect (uconnect). then SH5 will work.

... and UConnect does not seem to be compatible with Windows 7 any longer. I have not been able to get it to run on my Win7 machine. Win10 & 11 are fine, but not 7... YMMV
