Jello Water

Hi Guys!

I just installed sh5 again and tried out the vanila version. Then i decided to install the wolves of steel mod and its amazing but after i modded the game i get this strange water bug when i move the camera in free mode. In the vanila version there is no such thing. I used to play with wolves of steel a few years back without any issues like this. Do you have any idea what causes this strange bug?

what all the mods you running besides TWoS

Submods of TWoS. Nothing more.
- Env Settings -brighter nights
- Map contact colors
- Missing navy map Coordinates_fix
- Offices as Icons as stations
- Ship auto recognition
- SM interior_food stocks
- Wooden lifeboats

I tried to disable them... the issue stil persists.

Also im using a torrented version. The Elamigos edition because when i try to mod my uplay version then after installing TWoS i cant launch the game cause it asks for a product key... so i search for a torrent. It was working at first, then after a few gaming sessions i got this jelly water bug. I dont know what i did wrong tbh... i installed the game+ mod and started playing. The next day i noticed this bug.

I tried out every possible solution but i was unable to fix the problem.... :/
Im currently watching Wolfpack345's SH4 campaign where he got no such bug... i really want to fix this.

Did you try without food stocks?

It is known that addon mod isn´t totally compatible with the free camera option.

could be food stocks also could be because its a torrent download
PS. Discussion of torrents is also not allowed on this site so sounds like this is a grey area

Just to be clear, we have evaluated uwggbt1200's post where he is explaining from where he d/l his copy of SH5.

since he is not discussing the topic of torrents nor sharing links or advocating the use of the torrent download practice, he is not in violation of the Subsim Forum Rules.

He did state also that he has a store bought copy that did not take mods well. All could be to where the game is installed also (do not be in Program Files), and if he installed his 2nd copy without first removing the first copy, it most likely did not overwrite the original, borked game... plus, the Save folder might not have been emptied. As les mentioned, it could be the downloaded game itself also, but check your settings in the game first... rats... I was trying to launch my SH5 to point you at it, but it's bombing on this Win10 machine I'm on right now... but look for something like "Vertical Sync", which is what it's called in SH4. With an LCD monitor, it will cause jello water if engaged...

Edit: Success!!! Downloaded the newer UConnect, and the Steam version of SH5 starts fine again. Makes sense, doesn't it?? lol - Anyway uwggbt1200, once I got in, it is on this Options page, of the middle tab:

Hope that helps. That box is ticked by default, and you need to clear it. The jello water should leave you forever after that... that is, IF the box is ticked, clear... if it is clear, it is something else.
