Operation Weserübung - What to do

Gentlemen, I am anchored off Trondheim after refitting. I accepted Operation Weserübung but arrived too late to take part so refitted in Trondheim but no orders from BDU.
When I exit the game it reports the operation as being complete, should I just go do an independent patrol or return to base with a full load of torpedoes?

What is the present day in your campaign ? This operation starts the 8 or 9 April.
You should sink few British merchant then you will receive the order to sink a battleship after the 8 or 9...
Maybe you did the objectives without even knowing it... but normally you start by reveiving encrypted message from BdU stating something like "Attack any enemy shippiing in Norway. Norwegian ships are to be treated as neutrals" etc untill you receive the order to sink the battleship.
Around the way to Narvik you will need to sink at least 5 enemy ships...
Give more informations please.
But be reminded that even if the mission is written as "completed" that's maybe because you went past the end date... not because you managed to complete this very objective...

Yes, I was past the date. Lots of our ships there, found two merchant ships that I dealt with and went over to Scotland.

Thanks for your response, wish I had seen it much earlier.

Then I am not sure you can accomplish the mission, might be too late yes. You should see the shipyards as friendly now that Germany has taken control of Norway :-/
