Default The world's 50 best foods

It's drooling time

But which are the tastiest? Which are the best foods? And what are the destinations that serve them?

Agree fully
Maybe this is why Massaman curry is number 1 on their list of food from around the world.

I knew you would say Curry as you have mentioned it a few times.

Hmmm, How about pork ribs in home made sauce ? Prime rib, Shepard's pie with pork or beef, Steak and or prime rib and a good pizza with pepperoni, bacon, sausage and maybe onions and peppers.

Curry is good, but for me not that hot, only spicey. I dont like it to be that hot that I do not taste any of the many aromes anymore and only the fire extinguishing foam.

Pizza.

Wok mix with Ketjap Manis as main taste-giver, vegetables, minced beef or chicken.

Spaghetti with various aromatized oils, fish, or tomatoe sauces.

Goulash.

Wiener Schnitzel, originally done with veal.

Lamb steaks with peppermint sauce (my version of it) and fresh grean beans in bacon coats.

Millet.

Salmon.

Fresh bread.

I've always thought Hamburger was a genuin American invention
-On their list, listed as number 6 they have Germany.

I would put Wienerschnitzel and Sauerkraut on that list where Germany is.

Wiener Schnitzel is Austrian. And Austrian and German cuisine are not the same. Not even the languages are. Austrian German uses many different names for the same thing.

Ohh I see I made a search to see which dish was typical German and on the Danish page I found it said Wienerschnitzel and saurkraut.

Second choice for me would be the plain old fish and chips....choose your own sauce, whether it be chop or tomato but mine would be salad cream.
