using onealex gwx mod, asked onealex however he has no idea on how to make the snorkel available for the early type 1 VIIB subs...i know its not historical but i like the snorkel especially during a storm..thanks for any ideas or solutions.

Have you enabled the snorkel in .eqp and registered the corresponding node in. dat ?

ok i did the equipment part is the node in basic.cfg? is the node like Mo1, Z01 etc? i copied the the equipment data that was for the VIIC sub and the # was I01. i saw no I01 for any sub, just M01 A01 Z01

hey anvar, do u know how to transport data from dat file ..example in sub folder VIIB and copy and paste into another data file, although i think if they have different decks its gonna ctd. i wish there a modding tutorial on this ubject..are there any? u guys who make mods where do u get ur info?

i wont, when i get back from my trip i will share it. all my notes are at home. i will say i had to add snorkel equipment into subs equip file,(thanks to anvar for that tip), i added the info from data based on stock sh3 sub equip file into onealex sub equip file (VIIB for me),just take the snorkel info and placed it under (equipment 12 twin 20mm flak gun) input, u have to renumber the equipment sequence. but my other knowledge on the subject i have on notes at home.
