I can't change my Uboat number anymore somehow.
![]() Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have changed the number in the past various times without problems. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Have you started a new journal? If not it’ll continue with the old one.

This Uboat number is listed in the playersettings.cfg file. When I change it here to U-204 then in the game I'm still U-201 and when I open the playersettings.cfg file after playing the number has changed back to U-201. I have changed my Uboat number several times in the past without problems but now I can't figure out what I'm doing differently. |

Go into TWO's option file editor and click on Ship journal ? (think where it is) and the instructions are in the first line.....

But never mind, I've already accepted that I'm now U-201. Nothing wrong with U-201. ![]() |

That is because after you have changed the number in the file and before you start the game you should disable all mods in JGSME, then go to generic patcher, make a new snapshot and activate that snapshot.
Then add all mods in JGSME again and start the game. The game never sees your change because of the old snapshot still in place. Best, Ashi.
