Which makes me wonder...we have taken a huge leap in technology, but when it comes to our mentality and our psychology...we are still in the middle age.

U ol' camper! Her bier almost became a pyre...such is the nature of four letter words. Something similar happened at a large S.F. rest home where my graveshift security duties also entailed assisting the funeral parlor pickup man with putting the deceased into the gurney zipper-bag for transport. While putting one into the bag wrapped, solely in saran-wrap, the other awaiting transport, similarly clad on the repository slab suddenly moved! The poor 'bagman' was freaking out. I calmly slit open the saran wrap to allow for respiration; then fetched the furious RN on duty who had deemed the victim suitable for wrapping. The victim passed for keeps a few hours later. The next day the facility's chief administrator personally requested I not relate this medical lapse faux pas to anyone!
