I'm planning on starting a new career in SH TWOS (2.2.22) with the goal of trying to simulate a relatively realistic career and compare how I do to real life skippers. Based on what I'm seeing in KSD Commander and what i've experienced playing a previous career there doesn't seem to be any real variation in refit times. KSD commander says i can set the the range of possible days spent in bunker and from what i can tell it will just randomly pick a number in that range when i finish a patrol. Is that really the only variation that's possible? The game doesn't account for damage to your u-boat to determine how long the refit is? If so that is pretty disappointing.
Are there any other mods that could fix this? If not do other SH5 players have any suggestions on how to make this more realistic, such as a formula for determining refit time and then editing the days manually? I play the board game The Hunters and it has a formula of 1 month between patrols no matter what plus additional months for certain amounts of hull damage and/or systems damage. |
