Well, this is an absolutely amazing surprise for her. I'm not sure how CW knew (FB possibly?) but she is genuinely thrilled at the kind words and sentiments.

In about an hours time we will be entertaining the son, daughter and son-in-law, the granddaughter having already been here since 8am (childcare).

^ You wouldn't like it down here, CW. The only cake you'll find in the bilge is the rust caked to the galley walls... along with the mess from the microwave explosion after Tango put a Balti pan full of curry in it (our fly-by-night cook never did come back and he left the place a little untidy; do you still want the job?)
