Somehow I always get a laugh when seeing VW buses used in the military. Likely because I owned a 1969 campmobile for decades.

My parents had a light blue VW bus when we lived in Germany around 1980. I remember spinning around and around when my mother hit a patch of ice one day. I ended up in the floor because who wore seat belts back then? Good times.
