World map mod and im tearing my hair out.

Im an over the road truck driver and play Cold Waters when I can. Heres the thing...Ive been trying to install the world map mod and have the read only problem. Ive watched YouTube for two weeks and tried everything and still cant install it. My question is this, can somebody please send me the .exe version of the mod? Ive simply spent way to much time as I only have about an houd a day. A world map has always been the thing i really wanted to see in the game. Im bummed out about it actually. And help will be much appreciated.

I assume you were following this guide?

I can't find any read-only related errors. Can you describe the issue more?

You might also find a copy of the .exe from archive.org/waybackmachine, it might have archived the installer.

I can't see anyway you would get such an error.
As already posted follow the Install Guide and it works - haven't put any guides onto youtube so not sure what your watching.

Whether 32 or 64 bit, UABE crashed on me loading the emip file. No world map for me either.

Can't say about PBS (don't have it with a map), but if you want CW with a global map you can try Epic mod:

As most others mods, mod requires original game v 1.15g and is not compatible with anything else.

Atm global map is only for Soviets campaigns, but I've heard that in the future NATO campaigns will be introduced as well.

Chances are that you're want to wait for 2.09 (which will be released soon) which will feature swichable Metric/USC,more English with the mod, restored English medals and one critical update of global map.
