I have made a version where the weather every 2 minutes updates. (Works with v16b1)
In this video you can see the weather( in this case only wind direction) change every 2 minutes. In earlier attempts, after hitting the time accelerator the weather would stuck as a result. Making the weather change ca. all 5 days and the whole time no windchange. This is fixed now and I have the whole patrol 2 minute update. Wich makes storm for days and similar disappear. Does anyone has the same expierience? Regular weather changes Looks now really nice The max the game can give VIDEO:

![]() ![]() For sure time compression has an impact on weather change because of inside game clock running off (i think) after some time at high compression. That’s why i try to never pass X1024. Perso, i like to keep same weather for around 2/3 days, and playing GWX with HSIe patch (weather fix UNTICKED) + Hsie Supplement for 16b1 + Stiebler add-on + Stiebler Env SIM Act 10 gives me quite accurate weather changes. Again no more than X1024 TC! While this is true for GWX, it doesn’t work well for LSH3 nor Ccom12... I suspect some file somewhere is interacting and break this nice set up. With same setting as above for GWX, i sometime get stuck with very bad weather and heavy fog for too long time...Hsie weather fix ticked or unticked... So lately, in Ccom12 i do not apply the Hsie supplement mod nor the Stiebler add-on nor the Env SIM act 10, and just valid the Hsie weather fix box. Result is i get same weather for lets say around 4 days...sometimes less, sometimes more. I’m not fan of too much weather change, it can bring sides effects ingame...when hunting a convoy for instance.

Hi it's a very very sensible thing this weather files, yes.
My configuration: Most of the time3 - 4 hours only wind changes. 0 to 15 or similar only high time accelerator. A whole day with no change is now past. After a few hours the weather changes for sure. Up to 12 hours I think This adjustment did not I. Its the output of the simact 2016

One imortant thing I always forget to mention:
The stiebler simact 2016 MAKES THE WIND DEGREE WORK. However, look for yourself wich simact you are gonna to use. It's the only one fixed simact. And does the job very well

Yes i have the Sim Act 10 from 2016, and it’s working nice with GWX. Not really with Ccom12 and LSH3.

Yes, it's too much for the sh3 engine I suspect.
I think now everyone has the choice To run a super mod with All that pipapo and absolutly stuck weather.(because sh3 can't handle it all together) Or to choose a light package with wonderful realisticly simulatet weather . Maybe with 4 gig patch it works smoother Me has already sortied out all unnessesery. The good thing is putting in the v16 does most of the job. These fixes are the break trough. (But I have All affecting the weather off) And some smaller 2d grafiks nek triangle, leer, etc...

Ok. Than I think we use the same.
Sorry so much of info. I have seen the post before but have not remembered that he called it there simact 10. Try only this (simact 2016) In a clean 1.4 and you will see there is no need for further talk about the weather not correct. It's the same file envsim.act 26.03.2016 This file activates the windchange in 2 min takt And makes bug disappear in stock The gwx 16 km atmosphere mod to correct the sun will run ok

Fifi I run at 2048x at times and the weather changes ok then too. But I'm using the stock weather file.

![]() Not at all. I only do it when there is a storm. Instead of the hassle of submerging/surfacing to recharge/submerging, etc. like they would have done in real life, I just do 2048x at two knots surfaced to simulate the same. When the storm ends I resume normal patrol speeds, etc. Can't attack/be attacked in a storm anyway, so the 2048x doesn't affect that.

Once I got hit by destroyer in storm on accelerator. The game was over
try the simact 2016 in stock. To get a overview how proper weather is simulatet
