Getting SH3 to work.

Hello everyone, I just joined SUBSIM and acquired SH3 today. Was a fan of the first and second SH when I was younger. I'm having an issue launching the game. It seems to start fine, but after the intro video it crashes. Does anyone have a solution for this? Im running Windows 10. Are there any mods I need to fix this?

Right click on the SHIII icon and select properties and then compatibility. Select an older version of Windows such as Vista and give it a go. It works fine on my Win 10 with the Steam edition.

Do you need to do that every time you boot up SH3, or is that method a one time only and the game automatically does it from start from then on?

You need to tell us where you installed SH3 1st.
Then did you add mods before ever running the Game?
Details are needed.
