Constant CTD with SH3 Commander

Hello,

Finally got SH3/GWX3 + SH3 Commander to run last night. However when I launch the game from SH3 Commander I can get all the way to the point of launching a mission and then the game crashed 8/10 times. I had to constantly make new captains last night until finally I made it through the load screen.

Any reason why this would be happening and if so how can I fix it? I have the config files to run GWX3 with SH3 Commander but not sure what else would be causing this.

Games crashing before loading to the Ccommand Room is usually down to Windows 10 not being run in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
Run your applications as administrators.
Changing The Nvidia GPU Settings > Essential Settings > Pictorial

Probably why. Thank you and I apologies for the flurry of posts. Just frustrating. Finally got my patrol to start, get an hour outside of Kiel in my dugout and game CTDs again.

Just set in SH3 Properties to run compatibility mode as Win7 and immediately loaded in to patrol with no CTD. Hopefully fixes the issue. Will report if there's anything else. Thank you so much for the timely responses

Are you using a 1920 x 1080 wideGUI? And if so, have you applied the 4GB-patch to your sh3.exe? Because I had the exact same problem of not making it past the loading screen. Then I got the 4GB-patch and poof!- problem solved.
