Default Physics may need a good deal of rewriting, if this is true

https://edition.cnn.com/2019/11/22/w...rnd/index.html

I this turns out to be true, then it ilustrates what makes scientific methodology so great: rechecking, retesting, re-verifying again and again. Because if true, what the Hungarians are busy with is somethign that modern physics considered itself to be done with since long time.

Science does not declare eternal truths and final answers. No serious scientist would dare to do so. Always only theories, with the prsent ones being better-founded than the ones before them.

Climate science, dealing with open, chaotic systems of unforseeable complexity and demonising and isolating every heretic not bowing to the politically wanted dogma, could learn form this exmaple. It is aan exmaple worth to be learned form - even if in the end the Hungarians are shown to have been wrong. Because they showed the right attitude and worked on what all others considered to be an already closed file.
