Hi, I have currently 2 SATA drives (420Gb ea) C & D, E & F are DVD drives.
I have purchased another SATA drive (520Gb) about a year ago and haven't figured how to access it in Windows, it shows in the bios but doesn't show in windows. Being a new drive maybe it needs to be formatted first, if so not sure from where since Windows doesn't see it. ![]() I actually have 2 new SATA drives identical, what I plan to do is backup drive C with Norton Ghost to the newly installed drive then take C out, replace with the other SATA 520Gb drive, and restore the Ghost image to the new drive C Any ideas? ![]() Thanks. Edit: I went into Device Manager and it shows the drive there. Drive C Location 0(0) Drive D Location 1(1) New Drive Location 1(1)
