Radio Direction Finder

How does this work ingame? I cant seem to get any readings out of it for the life of me.

I/we have tried rotating the antenna carefully, and scanned through all the radio frequenzies on all 4 bands. Even when we KNOW we have convoys infront of us, it's still deadly silence.

-So does thing even work ingame yet? Or am I doing something fundamentally wrong? (We are only using it while on the surface)
