Apologies if i posted this before - but this fascinating U-Boat shipwreck dataset provided by the Geological Survey of Ireland popped up in my twitter feed yesterday. In most cases you can get an image of the elevation maps of the area with the uboat wreck on it, and in some cases you get a 3D model in your browser. Others like the Lusitania there as well.
All files are available to download for further processing/mapping. enjoy https://twitter.com/followtheboats/s...64625635352578

And the wreck of the Lusitania is up today for anniversary of the sinking.
https://twitter.com/followtheboats/s...86710442942465 with the wreck report https://secure.dccae.gov.ie/GSI_DOWN...ania_Final.pdf I knew there was some controversy about whether there were arms stored onboard (secondary explosion forward), recenlty verified - (did i read that somewhere?). But I had not known it was also partially armoured, and designed with hostilities in mind. WW1 would have been the first war like that with liners being attacked - what prompted that design feature I wonder?
