Good ol' CNN fake news

The headline reads:
Her family was throwing her a baby shower. They're now planning funerals after a police standoff turned fatal.

I thought, wow, the police showed up at a baby shower and started killin' everyone!

Then I clicked on the link and read the article:

Police were called Thursday morning to a home after some "sort of domestic dispute," according to the police department in Henry County, just south of Atlanta.

There was blood on the driveway when they arrived and White, 39, was lying on the other side of the garage door. But the officers couldn't immediately tell why.

Right after an officer kicked the front door down, a chaotic scene unfolded.

The officer was shot in the chest and hip; and somehow he maneuvered his way into the garage to help White. Outside, a few other officers scrambled to take cover and one of them was shot in the hand.

"Don't come in here," the gunman yelled at the officers. "I got a lot of shot.... I got a hostage."
Police body camera video shows an officer frantically kicking the garage door, trying to make a hole for the wounded officer who was inside. Within seconds, a door panel broke and the officer jumped out.

After firing several rounds, police said the gunman, Anthony Tony Bailey Jr., 47, barricaded himself inside the home. He was White's boyfriend and had Arkeyvion somewhere in the home.

Such irresponsible "journalism".

Headlines are frequently written in such a way to catch the attention of the reader and entice them to read the article.


No conspiracy, just good marketing. And certainly nothing new.

Funny you should mention that. My mom forwarded me a CNN story about insulin prices. So the ARTICLE/headline was how Cigna is only charging $25 for a month supply, but if you watch the video with the story, it doesn't even mention that lil tidbid of info, BUT it does talk about how people are dying because they can't afford their insulin, so they take very little or none at all. My first thought was, my diabetes Doctor told me, if I ever get in a jam, Walmart sells generic insulin w/o a prescription for.....$25 a bottle.



So I have Cigna and they made me get a 90 supply, which I though would be $75. Nope, I paid...…….$25! That's around $3k of insulin. I feel like I just robbed a bank.

not sure if thats a controlled substance or a family member.

yeah... you never get the whole story with the Communist News Network, anything they can do to give the appearance that it's the fault of officers.

Even though I'm aware of these click baits and try to avoid them, it happens I get lured (or what you call it)

I think almost everyone of us, have in one or more occasions, clicked on one of these "incredible" headlines
