Does the forum have the option to change the date display format? I can't find it if there is. I'd like to set it to dd-mm-yyyy, instead of mm-dd-yyyy as is custom in the US.

I've searched the FAQs and can find nothing to help. It could be that it was decided to settle on the US form to avoid confusion arising from members using differing forms; to me, 12.1.17 means the twelfth of January... to Commander Wallace it means the first of December... could cause problems

Yeah, I understand it could cause confusion. But if it was an option, and US style was default, then each would make their own mind to take that into consideration. I guess there is no way to show it differently. Oh well, no biggie.

I've often thought that in the past but as far as I'm aware we are stuck with what we have (the 100 years thread being a classic example).
