I just read about this. He was a really funny TV character actor. He was 91 so he had a good long life.

I had no idea William Daily was this old. I remember him well from re runs of " I dream of Jeanie "

Bill Daily was also a regular on one of the Bob Newhart sitcoms, appearing as an airline pilot neighbor of Newhart's character. He was also on several other shows and had, by the standards of TV character actors, a very successful career. The only other TV character actor I can think of who had such a continued career was the late Tom Poston who never seemed to be without some role or other. Its a shame Bill Daly is gone; the art of the great character actor is fading away...
