Default Lions, Tigers, a Jaguar and a Bear: Zoo Escape Grips Germany

Quote:
FRANKFURT — Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
Quote:
In a brief but dramatic episode, two lions, two tigers, a jaguar and a bear were found to be missing from their enclosures in a zoo in western Germany on Friday, prompting an all-hands search effort from the police, the fire brigade and a team of veterinarians.

The drama peaked midmorning when the bear was discovered — and shot dead.

Our friends here at SUBSIM may have seen something, but this predators are not to play with.

The animals have not left their enclosures at all, they just had hidden, there was a strong thunderstorm over the town, and parts of Germany are under water anyway. The only animal that indeed got out, was the bear.

And no, Germany was not really "gripped" by this news.

As usual, the news is 'not real'.
