Is there a way to increase the light intensity of the observation periscope? My understanding of the utility of the observation periscope was two-fold: 1) it offered the ability to scan upwards, and thus search for aircraft, and, 2) the wider head (a definite liability during daylight attacks) gave it improvement in light-gathering.
Is there a way of altering the lighting effect of the observation periscope, so that images viewed through it at night are brighter than viewed through the attack periscope? |

I seem to recall mods doing this by just making the attack scope darker, or atleast that is what it felt like. Probably some sort of filter overlayed on the periscope user interface.
