SH5 getting up to date

So I used the Steam version for a while, about two years ago and haven't touched it since. I just bought a copy off amazon and updated to 1.2 as I hear that's the better way. Is there a current guide somewhere for everything that is recommended to use? I'm assuming the TDW patcher is still required?

I was planning on using the WoS mod, but was also wondering - is that the best one currently? Does it update graphics as well, or should I be looking at some graphics/weather mods?

Yes ideally use TDW Patcher

WOS good choice

There has not been much in terms of Graphics/Weather Mods over WOS
